Since I know you are all wondering where in the world Troy could be, or perhaps thinking that I made up this city, Troy is about 25 minutes from St. Louis, Mo.

What do you like to do besides sing in the XChords?

Well, my first love was soccer, which I have been playing since the age of 4, and I almost made the club soccer team here at U of I, which means I would have never joined this group, so I guess that everything worked out for the best. Besides that, I enjoy hanging out with friends, playing most any sport, watching movies, and going out and having a good time. I’ll try most anything once.

What are you studying here at U of I?

I’m a vocal performance major.

Seriously???

Yes, sir. I auditioned on the last day you could and made it.  It’s a risky major but I’m following my dream.

Good for you. Ever heard the term ‘starving artist’?

Nobody said I was nice( laughs evilly)) So tell me what kind of music you listen to?

I’m pretty diverse. I like a little bit of nearly every genre (although I haven’t quite figured metal out yet). Some of my favorite artists are Josh Groban, Michael Buble, Bruno Mars, Usher, and Eminem.

Favorite memory of college so far?

Going up to the cabin with all the guys was pretty awesome. I really got to know this awesome group of dudes and we became a very tight group. Also, Jordan and I invented a sport called fish baseball; it’s going to be the next big thing.
